Growing up I often helped my grandmother with High School Rodeo.  Although I was younger then most of her students I stamped hands at the door like no other.  Likewise, my grandmother was building a beautiful house in High Rolls and hired some help from those very rodeo students.  Daniel was one of those students.  He was a skinny guy.  And I am not sure if I remember him because he was always around or he has the same name as my brother, but I remembered Daniel.

My Senior in High School (2004) year I often visited my cousin Janarae whom was also friends with Daniel.  We have many mutual friends. Our paths crossed many times just never went beyond a passing hello.

Talking to mutual friends in 2006 through the wonders of the internet (myspace) I recognized Daniel and emailed him a quick hello.  “Do you remember me I am Mrs. Bond’s granddaughter?”

The first weekend in August 2006, I drove to Alamogordo the weekend after we started talking again.  It was wonderful! As cliché as it might sound, I knew the first time he looked in my eyes and kissed me.  He was my “one.”

We switched weekends for about 2 months.  September 29, 2006 he moved to Canyon and as they say…. A year and a half after that first kiss he proposed to me and 3 years after that first kiss we plan to wed. The rest is history. And they lived happily ever after……

I cant even recall  how long ago exactly it was. I remember my version of the first time I saw Sharee. It was at Grandma Estelle’s annual pig roast. I was there because I was a helping hand at building grandma’s house.  Sharee was there for obvious reasons, her family’s pig roast.

In my mind, my story is totally different than hers. I don't remember many of the details, but the one thing that sticks out in my mind is her running around helping out anybody that needed it. She was in her little pink shorts and tank top. Most obviously the brightest kid there and the most helpful.

Many, many years later, I got to the computer one day after work, and I had a message online. Something along the lines of “Do you remember me?” I did. I never forgot about her. She always stuck out in my mind. Ever since that message, its been going good. Sharee has Bettered my life in so many ways. From helping me quit my bad habits, to going to school , to being able to fall in love.

I care about her in more ways than anyone can ever imagine. As she say’s, “ The One !”
